Over the weekend Midwest Drift Union Round 1 was going on and I was a little bummed I couldn’t go to it. Little did I know I was going to be doing an impromptu shoot in the downtown Indianapolis area.
As I waited on a few calls to come in about shoots and cancelations I decided to meet up with a buddy and cruise. As we were leaving I texted Nathan to see if he wanted to shoot downtown and he already had a few buddies (Corey and Petr) with him that I had met a few times at Cars and Coffee. By the time I found the location to shoot they had arrived in the low and slow fashion of which I’ve come to love.
When we realized we were on the wrong side of the river we quickly hopped in the cars and headed over to the spot. Tucked back under a bridge in the more industrial area of downtown, the road of choice was a public access road where there was a good amount of semi traffic; and spoiler alert, they don’t all slow down.
I initially wanted a group shot of the 3 cars under the bridge pillars.
Then realized halfway through positioning that there were enough spots for my car and my buddy Brian’s Challenger so we all got in it.
Without further interruption and fun moments here is Nathan Gruol’s G-37.
Nate’s G sports 20X9.5(+31) 20X10.5(+20) SSR CV01 wheels with Project Kics R40 neochrome lugs. The stance comes from Accuair’s Elevel system with iLevel to help keep things in check. While Eibach front and rear sways with a Cusco front strut bar keeps things planted. To bring this beauty to a halt, StopTech BBK 385mm fronts and 355mm rears will definitely do the trick.
As you’ve noticed there is carbon fiber galore and all lips are securely molded to the bumpers.

As I ran out of time to get any interior shots — soon to come — we had one last mission. Rollers. Enjoy!
