This beauty is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS with a small block 350 and original Muncie 4 speed transmission that’s been rebuilt. Mostly all original parts rebuilt or refurbished. The story behind this is a long one so I’ll try to make it short.
About 15 years ago my father was looking to find a 67′ Camaro. Didn’t matter what shape really but something he could work with. It started out as a primer gray beater with a busted engine, four flat tires, an interior that was on the exterior and deteriorating chrome trim. It was in pretty bad shape but there was no rust so it was a good start. After sitting around various garages and a few color change ideas he finally started rebuilding it. Starting with the paint and body work first then moving on to the power plant and interior. It only took one winter and spring to complete after 12 years of just sitting around. I was so happy to see her all completed and finally able to drive. I remember the first time I drove her I was all smiles. The Camaro community have a little saying for that, “Permagrin.”
Hope you enjoy the pictures! Video coming soon.
